Environmental Notices
The New York State Homes & Community Renewal (HCR), through the Housing Trust Fund Corporation (HTFC), the Housing Finance Agency (HFA), the State of New York Mortgage Agency (SONYMA), and the New York State Affordable Housing Corporation (AHC) publishes environmental review notices as required by various state and federal laws and regulations, including the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) as implemented at the United States Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD) implementing regulations at 24 CFR Parts 55 and 58 and the New York State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA) implementing regulations at 6 NYCRR 617.
In September 2023 HCR began to post required notices on this page. Accompanying substantive review documents are also posted. For copies of larger appendices email [email protected]. Notices and accompanying documents will remain posted for one year.
