Overview
The Leading in Lead Prevention Program (LEAD) is a standalone grant program funded by the State of New York and administered by the Housing Trust Fund Corporation’s (HTFC) Office of Community Renewal (OCR).
The funding for this program will support the remediation of lead-based paint hazards in multi-family rental properties built before 1980, that are in identified areas of concern across New York State. The program aims to support owners of properties that are subject to the Lead Rental Registry, which is regulated by the State of New York Department of Health (DOH).
