Nestor M. Davidson, Member HFA and AHC Boards
Nestor Davidson is a Professor of Law at Fordham University School of Law and serves as Director of the Fordham Urban Law Center.
Professor Davidson’s scholarship focuses on property, land use, local government law, transactional lawyering in the public-private context, and affordable housing law and policy. Professor Davidson practiced at Latham & Watkins LLP, where he focused on commercial real estate and affordable housing, and he served as Special Counsel and Principal Deputy General Counsel at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Prior to joining Fordham, he was an Associate Professor of Law at Colorado Law School.
Professor Davidson earned his A.B. from Harvard College and his J.D. from Columbia Law School. After law school, he clerked for Judge David S. Tatel of the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit and Justice David H. Souter of the Supreme Court of the United States.
