  • June 8, 2022 Public Hearing #1, at 7:00 p.m.
    • This meeting will take place at Yonkers Riverfront Library, located at 1 Larkin Center, Yonkers Room, Yonkers, New York 10701. It will be held to hear testimony from tenants, owners, and other members of the public concerning how the WRGB should determine the rent adjustments, if any, for leases of apartments subject to ETPA and for such other business that may come before the board.
    • Members of the public wishing to address the Board at this hearing may send an e-mail to [email protected] requesting that they be placed on a list of speakers. Alternatively, members of the public may sign up at the meeting. The speakers addressing the WRGB during the meeting will be limited to three minutes for individuals and five minutes for persons on behalf of entities or organizations.

 

 

  • June 14, 2022 Public Hearing #2, at 7:00 p.m.
    • This meeting will take place at White Plains City Hall, City Council Chambers, located at 255 Main Street, White Plains, New York 10601. It will be held to hear testimony from tenants, owners, and other members of the public concerning how the WRGB should determine the rent adjustments, if any, for leases of apartments subject to ETPA and for such other business that may come before the board.
    • Members of the public wishing to address the Board at this hearing may send an e-mail to [email protected] requesting that they be placed on a list of speakers. Alternatively, members of the public may sign up at the meeting.     • This meeting will take place at Mount Vernon City Hall, Mayor’s Conference Room (Room 107A), located at 1 Roosevelt Square, Mount Vernon, New York 10550. It will be held to hear testimony from tenants, owners, and other members of the public concerning how the WRGB should determine the rent adjustments, if any, for leases of apartments subject to ETPA and for such other business that may come before the board.

  • June 22, 2022 Presentation Meeting, at 7:00 p.m.
    • This meeting will take place at New Rochelle City Hall, City Counsel Conference Room, located at 90 Beaufort Place, New Rochelle, New York 10801. It will be held for the presentations of the tenant and owner representatives regarding the rent guidelines for leases commencing between October 1, 2022 and September 30, 2023.

 

  • June 27, 2022 Rebuttal and Vote Meeting, at 7:00 p.m.
    • This meeting will take place at New Rochelle City Hall, City Council Chambers, located at 90 Beaufort Place, New Rochelle, New York 10801. It will be held for the rebuttal presentations of the tenant and owner representatives and to vote on rent guidelines for leases commencing between October 1, 2022 and September 30, 2023.

 

  • September 29, 2022 Certification Meeting, at 7:00 p.m.
    • This meeting will take place at the Westchester District Rent Office, located at 75 South Broadway - Suite: 350, White Plains, New York 10601. It will be held for the certification of the guidelines established by the Board for the 2022 – 2023 guideline period, the review and finalization of the Explanatory Statement for the 2022 – 2023 guideline period, the review of dates for future meetings, and other business.

It will be held to hear testimony from tenants and owners concerning how the Board should determine the rent adjustments, if any, for one and two-year leases of apartments subject to the Emergency Tenant Protection Act of 1974, as amended, and which commence on or between October 1, 2022, and September 30, 2023.

It will be held to hear testimony from tenants and owners concerning how the Board should determine the rent adjustments, if any, for one and two-year leases of apartments subject to the Emergency Tenant Protection Act of 1974, as amended, and which commence on or between October 1, 2022, and September 30, 2023.

  • June 23, 2022 Deliberation and Vote Meeting, at 7:30 p.m.
    • This meeting will take place at the Nassau County Legislative Building, located at 1550 Franklin Avenue, Mineola, NY 11501. It will be held to establish the guidelines for rent adjustments, if any, for housing accommodations subject to the Emergency Tenant Protection Act of 1974 in Nassau County for leases of one or two years which commence on or between October 1, 2022, and September 30, 2023.
    • Please Note: There is no public speaking at this meeting.

 

  • September 21, 2022 Certification Hearing, at 7:30 p.m.
    • This meeting will take place at the Nassau County Legislative Building, located at 1550 Franklin Avenue, Mineola, NY 11501. It will be held to certify the guideline rent adjustments for housing accommodations subject to the Emergency Tenant Protection Act (ETPA) of 1974 in Nassau County for a one (1) year or two (2) year lease which commence on or between October 1, 2022, and September 30, 2023.

Hearing and Presentation Dates

  • June 7, 2022 Public Hearing #1, at 7:00 p.m.
    • This meeting will take place via Zoom. It will be held to determine the guidelines rates of rent adjustments, if any, for housing accommodations within its jurisdiction, subject to the Emergency Tenant Protection Act of 1974 for leases commencing between October 1, 2022 and September 30, 2023. Instructions for members of the public to simultaneously listen to the meeting will be posted to HCR's website for the Office of Rent Administration under the Public Hearings section prior to the meeting. The hearing will also later be transcribed and the public will have the ability to view the transcript.
    • Members of the public wishing to address the Board during this meeting may send an e-mail to [email protected] requesting that they be placed on a list of speakers no later than June 6, 2022. On the date of the meeting, all persons who have signed up to speak will be provided with instructions on how to call in to the meeting and will be required to call in when prompted by the Chair. The Chair will call for the speakers in the order in which they signed up prior to the meeting. The speakers addressing the Board during the meeting are limited to three minutes for individuals and five minutes for persons on behalf of entities or organizations.

    • This meeting will take place at Kingston City Hall's Council Chambers, located at 420 Broadway, Kingston, NY 12401. It will be held ​​​​​​for further consideration and discussion of the record before the Kingston RGB and to vote on (i) rent guidelines for leases within the board’s jurisdiction that commence between August 1, 2022, and September 30, 2023, and (ii) FMRA guidelines applicable to tenancies under the board’s jurisdiction.

 

  • Certification Meeting
    • The Kingston RGB will schedule a further public meeting to be held at a date to be determined later to certify the rent guidelines for ETPA leases commencing between August 1, 2022 and September 30, 2023, and FMRAs for tenancies under the board’s jurisdiction. A further public notice will be issued when the date and time for this meeting is determined.
