- This meeting will take place at the Westchester District Rent Office, located at 75 South Broadway - Suite: 350, White Plains, New York 10601. It will be held to discuss and schedule dates, times, and locations for the May/June public hearings and meetings to set guideline rates of rent adjustment for housing accommodations within the Board’s jurisdiction, subject to the Emergency Tenant Protection Act of 1974 (“ETPA”), for leases commencing between October 1, 2024 and September 30, 2025. It will also be held to address other business.

- April 27, 2023 Public Meeting, at 7:30 p.m.
- This meeting will take place at the Nathan L.H. Bennett Pavilion, located at One Washington Street, Hempstead, NY 11550. It will be held to schedule the dates of all hearings and meetings for the 2023/2024 guidelines, to approve minutes from the previous public meeting, regular order of business, and such other business that may come before the Board.

- May 23, 2023 Public Hearing #1, at 7:30 p.m.
- This meeting will take place at Great Neck Plaza Village Hall, located at 2 Gussack Plaza, Great Neck, New York 11022. It will be held to hear testimony from tenants and owners concerning how the Board should determine the rent adjustments, if any, for one and two-year leases of apartments subject to the Emergency Tenant Protection Act of 1974 (ETPA), as amended, and which commence on or between October 1, 2023 and September 30, 2024. It will also be held to address regular order of business, approve minutes from the previous meeting, and such other business that may come before the Board.

- This meeting will take place at Long Beach City Hall, located at 1 West Chester Street, Long Beach, New York 11561. It will be held to hear testimony from tenants and owners concerning how the Board should determine the rent adjustments, if any, for one and two-year leases of apartments subject to the Emergency Tenant Protection Act of 1974 (ETPA), as amended, and which commence on or between October 1, 2023 and September 30, 2024. It will also be held to address regular order of business, approve minutes from the previous meeting, and such other business that may come before the Board.

- June 15, 2023 Presentation Hearing, at 7:30 p.m.
- This meeting will take place at the Nathan L.H. Bennett Pavilion, located at One Washington Street, Hempstead, NY 11550. It will be held to receive testimony in the form of formal presentations by tenants, landlords, and their representatives concerning the economic conditions of the residential real estate industry in the cities, towns, and villages of Nassau County with apartments subject to the Emergency Tenant Protection Act of 1974 (ETPA), including the prevailing and projected rates of the following:
- Real Estate taxes and sewer water rates.
- Gross operating and maintenance costs, including insurance rates, governmental fees, cost of fuel, and labor costs.
- Costs and availability of financing, including effective rates of interest.
- Overall supply of housing accommodations and over-all vacancy rates.
- The information received will be used with other data to establish the guidelines for rate adjustments, if any, for housing accommodations subject to the ETPA in Nassau County for leases of one and two years which commence between October 1, 2023 and September 30, 2024. This meeting will also be held to address regular order of business, approve minutes from the previous meeting, and such other business that may come before the Board.

It will also be held to review and finalize the Explanatory Statement for the 2023 – 2024 guideline period, review dates for future meetings, and address other business.
- December 18, 2023 Public Hearing, at 7:00 p.m.
- This meeting will take place at Nyack Village Hall, located at 9 N. Broadway, Courtroom
Nyack, New York 10960. It will be held for the following reasons:- To discuss the RRGB’s responsibilities following adoption of the Emergency Tenant Protection Act (“ETPA”) by the Village of Nyack, New York (“Nyack”) on November 9, 2023.
- To hear testimony from tenants, owners and other interested members of the public concerning how the RRGB should determine (i) the guideline rates of rent adjustments, if any, for leases within its jurisdiction covered by Nyack’s adoption of ETPA on November 9, 2023, which commence between November 9, 2023 and September 30, 2024, and (ii) guidelines for Fair Market Rent Appeals (“FMRA”).
- For housing accommodations within the Board’s jurisdiction covered by Nyack’s adoption of rent stabilization, to vote on (i) rent guidelines for leases that commence between November 9, 2023 and September 30, 2024, and (ii) FMRA guidelines.
